San Francisco, 2039. Trump is serving his sixth term as president, Amazon have purchased Greenland and gun ownership is mandatory for all US citizens.

Victor Frankenstein is a loyal Facebook employee until he is dismissed for abusing user data. Undeterred from his quest for knowledge, Victor embarks on an unorthodox technological experiment in a bid to create the perfect humanoid.

Frankenstein 2039 is a digital experience, where audiences will interact with the play via a web-app. Your comments will be broad-cast live and your votes will influence the narrative’s course of action.

Liver&Lung presents Frankenstein 2039, a stage adaptation of Mary Shelley’s famous Gothic horror novel. Frankenstein 2039 promises a terrifying exploration of the limitations of scientific technology, the essence of the human condition and the pursuit of good over evil.
